PAULETTE HAMILTON

This week's guest is Councillor Paulette Hamilton; Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Health in Birmingham. She has held many positions throughout her career including Chair of Birmingham Health and Wellbeing Board, Vice Chair of West Midlands Combined Authority Health and Wellbeing Board and West Midlands Combined Authority Lead for Childhood Obesity. Her previous works also include nursing followed by her role as Professional Development Advisor at the Royal College of Nursing.

In this episode Paulette shares her heritage, experiences in nursing, working with sickle cell, national policy & the African diaspora community, aswell as her thoughts on the vaccine.
